The “Monte das Oliveiras” is located near the international road Lisbon-Caia, between km’s 98 and 100; 16km from Montemor-o-Novo, 5km from Arraiolos and 23km from Évora.

It has always been, due to the fine quality if the pasture land and wealth of the water, a rich habitat for the best cattle of the region.

It used to belong to the Royal House of Braganza, up to the XVII^th century, when it was bought by the forefathers of the present owners, who have throughout the generations cherished it always. “Monte das Oliveiras” still serves the purposes of a rural, farming estate, as well as the family home, therefor being even now a meeting point for family and social events and hence lovingly looked after.

As it is the bearer of such fine conditions, the owners have seen it to provide to people other than the family, with the peace and wellbeing it is surrounded with.
